Where have I said "I told you so" and what exactly do you think I am telling people? That the Jets would be 3-2? Or that they would beat Miami? I never said any of that. I've never mentioned playoff or winning the division. I've expressed concerns with Wilson, Saleh and the coaching staff. So I'm really not sure where I got this label as a Sunnyside Cheerleader. The Jets won a huge game yesterday and when I mean huge, I mean in terms of their growth and development. When was the last time we beat Miami or any divisional team? We held a small lead in the 4th and instead of folding like a cheap umbrella we rolled up 21 points on them. The team has so much young talent, it's exciting. The game threads are awful. I don't know why I even read them. No one can be happy. We suck. Saleh sucks. Wilson sucks. Douglas sucks. Oh hey we won by 23. Not convinced. It's exhausting.
Not sure we turned a corner yet but it’s nice having a modern looking nfl offense. Get a win in lambeau and things will feel a lot different, right now I think we’re one of the better bad teams.
Can I get a little "told you so"? I said we'd be 3-2 after the Miami game. I said Breece would be a fucking stud right after we drafted him and watched his college reel. There... I feel much better...
Nah. Not this one. In another post he was going after a darksider. Quotes the wrong post. You are good here
We've just stuck 40 points onto a divisional rival and have a team emerging into something better than we've had in years. There will be bumps in the road of course but if we can't be happy at the moment, we might as well do something else.
The goal was to play meaningful games in December. No matter how November turns out we will be playing meaningful games in December.
no reason to think not. we have no critical FAs and with the injuries we'll have an even better team next year. plus everyone will have more experience in the NFL and the system
Yes, both the players and CS although both need to keep getting better. Yesterday's 1/2 adj on Allen were a ting of beauty. Next time to kick BB to the crub... lets see.
Now it's up to the coaching staff to keep this train rolling... both schematically & emotionally. We have something special going on. The way the defense closed out the game in the second half was spectacular.
I'm surprised at how good the defense got so fast. I expected to jump form worst to average. not from worst to top 5. remember when I said be patient with ulbruch and the coahcing staff. this is why. many wanted him fired last year
Based on how they've gone 5-1 - and really should've been 6-0 - while overcoming a lot of things that would've sunk them in the past, I'd say "Yes", at least one corner has been turned. While I don't think they're beyond making mistakes and losing games because of them, I do think they're past the SOJ obstacle. Douglas, Saleh & Co. aren't going to let them slip back into those old ways.
