Exactly right. People keep talking about how they want to see Zach look like a franchise QB. Well, 2nd year QBs don't look like franchise QBs, because it takes longer than that to learn the game. If a coach is asking a 2nd year QB to perform like a franchise QB, the coach is an idiot and needs to be fired. (Same for fans. ) You develop a 2nd year QB by having him hand off mostly, make easy throws the rest of the time, and push it downfield only if something is wide open or you're getting blown out so you might as well go for the long shot. MLF was asking too much of Zach for most of last year, and Zach was asking too much of himself last week. This week was just right. Let him look like a franchise QB next year; this year, let's just ask him not to lose games with dumb turnovers.
I don't even like the black and white combo but can't argue with success. I like the black helmets but the "logo" looks terrible on those helmets.
I tried telling to whoever would listen that yes, while the Bills are the best team the Jets have faced....the Jets Defense is the best Defense the Bills have faced, and defense wins 90% of the time. I had the Bills scoring one TD the whole game. Allen's 40+ yard scamper for 7 added to their total. Give them credit I guess, but when the game came down to the line, I was TRHILLED it was in the hands of our Defense, versus our Offense needed a last second score. Sometime shit just works out! And sorry about your fam issues...hope all's well.
It did look like in the 3rd and 4th qtrs, we had someone watching Allen especially when our backend had guys locked down. A very significant adjustment by Ulbrich or Mosley.
I love the salty tears from other fans complaining that Sauce committed PI on all the 'game winning' plays this season. Tears taste good.
