Great way to go into the bye week. Zach and MLF have a lot to work on. But, at least Zach's confidence should be sky high after such a tough gritty win.
Perhaps his best game and biggest win as a pro? The Green Bay game was pretty cool but this one is different.
I’ve been firmly in Camp Skeptic when it comes to Zach but gotta give the kid credit for a good game today. Good response after last week. It’s a glimmer of hope for the future. Let’s see if he can do two in a row.
Wilson showed he can manage the game. His picks from last week were fixable. Didn’t throw any. Had a good game.
Loved the scrambling today and only saw 2 maybe 3 running backwards looking lost under pressure plays. Both of which are big improvements.
Zach played very well today, there no denying it. Besides not killing us with mistakes he made a lot of clutch passes that kept the chains moving. Still things to be cleaned up (fumble, overthrow, not sliding) but really nothing I can get on him about today. I hope this kid makes me eat crow and makes this his watershed moment.
Hard to see many negatives with how Zach played today. Can only remember like 2-3 bad plays for him all game. Huge game for him and his development! If Zach can play like he did today for the rest of the year, there’s no reason we can’t go to the playoffs this season.
It must have been drilled into Zach's head to TRUST THE POCKET! That's the defining difference from last week in my opinion. Nice job, Zach... stayed within the plan and didn't play hero ball.
Agreed, and to Zach’s credit he showed he can play from the pocket, and did it against the 2nd best D in the league (I think we’re the best). That was the part I didn’t feel he could do and he showed up and proved me wrong. I hope this combined with the bye to reflect and study result in a watershed moment for him. I’d really like to eat all the crow I’d deserve if he continues playing like today.
This was Zach’s best game of his career. I actually trusted him in this game. He made big time plays today.
Kid stood in the pocket and looked mostly composed doing it. Hard to believe it was the same player as last week.
