Need to somehow get to 9 wins to probably get in with tie breakers, 5 more wins 100% gets you in without a tie breaker. The Miami week 18 game can very will be a win and in for us and determine some sort of seeding between both teams. Should be a rollercoaster of second half of the season
The injuries probably took the Jets middling shot at a wildcard and turned it into a very low chance. We're not even at the bye yet and we've lost two key players for the season.

If you're stupid enough to go by the numbers, Jets only have to play a little over .500 ball the rest of the way to make the playoffs. While at 9 wins you're screwing around with tiebreakers, 10 wins should do the trick, even if you're unlucky as the Jets. With a top ranked DEF playing in a cold weather climate, conventional wisdom states the Jets should be able to play mediocre enough ball the rest of the way to land an invitation to the shield's big dance. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no wisdom to be gained from being a Jets' fan; certainly not the conventional type. After a very short honeymoon, Jets #2 is finding out quickly the big city is like a shitty unfaithful lover who sucks you off and then spits you out. Speaking of which, not many cougars in these parts to help a young buck get back in the saddle, so we'll just have to settle for a strong second half by Zach, culminating in a playoff berth.
