I will continue to crap on his accuracy he was barely 50% today not fucking good enough and it’s not the OL and it’s not the talent around him and it’s not the scheme…there were open receivers that he missed or didn’t see and those fucking picks lobbing it up off the back foot … what the fuck man he sucked balls today Not damn good enough…hit the fucking open receivers And the Pats are laughing their asses off AGAIN
MLF can’t call plays to save his life. Nepotism, not talent, landed him his job. When you win 4 in a row rushing the ball, why stop now? Wilson appears to be nothing more than a game manager at this point in his short career. Once the boo birds start at Met Life, he will further deteriorate.
This is precisely why they will NEVER start Streveler. No way they can admit they fckd the 2nd rd pick or that they've been wrong about Wilson. It really doesn't matter how bad Zach plays, he will not be benched unless he gets hurt.
How’d they do when they turned around and handed it off to a RB? They averaged 3.2 YPC, so yeah, they had a hard time.
I think it was 51 yards on 15 Carries? The pass game is clearly not out bread and butter, and why they didn’t adjust atleast after realizing it wasn’t working is baffling.
That's Zach at his absolute best so far. If we had a solid game manager out there today, we would have won.
It’s pretty much all on Zach dude. You lose a game by 12 where you throw three interceptions (all three of which are horrible) and you get to eat most of the blame.
With only 15 carries, I am not sure how you can quote yards per carry. Run the ball. Bam should have been activated, not a guy that hasn’t even seen the playbook for a week. Barkley averaged around that today for the Giants. He still got the ball.
Doubt it CVal.... Sure, Zach gets more time but the fact still remains and the fact you refused to acknowledge which is, "Zach Wilson is the reason why the Jets hadn't dominated their opponents over the last 5 games" He's pure garbage and he's not pulling his weight....
How, when the area beyond the sideline is literally boundless and the area inside the sideline is only 53 1/3 yards, can you miss inside when trying to throw it out of bounds? He doesn't lack the arm strength like Pennington did post-shoulder problems, so is it really a case of him just being that amazingly inaccurate?
They never tried to establish the run. 8-9 of those were the same up the gut on first down we've seen other a hundred times this season. MLF continues to show he thinks he can out smart the opposition and it fails. I wrote somewhere that if MLF thinks he can outsmart BB we may not score a TD. I was wrong and we scored one while being out scored by Nick Foles. This game just went the way of the one time they didn't run the same run play again, Wilson threw a pick.
It doesn’t matter if he can or cant. They couldn’t get the run game going. They didn’t have many offensive possessions in the third quarter. They were down 2 possessions in the 4th.
Talk is cheap. You gotta walk the walk if you want to make it in the NFL. Not saying it is bad that he knows he played poorly and admits it. Not saying that knowing he has to play better is not part of the process. But we've been there with Mark Sanchez and Sam Darnold and it's pretty clear at this point that performance is indicative of future performance and talking the talk means nothing in terms of eventual success. Well, I guess it means he is not Ryan Leaf levels of fool but not a lot more than that.
Zach was pissed during his press conference. Maybe that will translate to him fixing his mechanics and improve.
