If the team is winning, which they were before today, he shouldn't even be complaining about targets. Especially when the team was throwing the ball as little as we were during that 4 game stretch. If the Jets were serious about sending a message, they'd inactivate him for a while. Wilson couldn't hid the broadside of a barn with his passes anyway, so it's not as though Moore's outlook is going to improve. Is he really going to be happy being targeted more if those targets are hitting him in the ankles or are sailing ten stories above his head into the third row of the bleachers? He shouldn't be a part of any future plans for the Jets outside of whatever little compensation they can get for him in an offseason trade. But he should not be traded during the season.
The QB airmailed a throw to a RB and chose to throw the ball on the sideline instead of in the stands, leading to 3 INTs. They had a hard time running the ball. They had to win on Zachs arm.
He's not wrong. How many more times does it need to be said that the QB play needs to get better before someone in the organization actually does something to, oh, I don't know, raise the level of the QB play?
Feeling any different today @cval and @ColoradoContrails? Can't wait for you to agree with points I first made 5 weeks ago 5 weeks from now.
exactly though, he runs his route. Who knows what the QB is doing back there, running backwards and shit, he ain’t finding Moore
Just in case nobody has noticed, there is a shitload of WR talent on the Jets. Why the ball does not get distributed around to all of them is a mystery not only to Moore, but to many others.
LaFleur called a pretty good game. He was creative about replacing Breece Hall, getting the ball to Garrett Wilson in space, making easy throws over the middle, etc There were open receivers all day. that game was 100% on the QB who was atrocious
I like you but do you not have something else to chat about pal? MiLf is shit, we know it, you know it, you don't have to post it every day Now you slay the OC but defend the QB it is interesting because Wilson was dogshit last week and was dogshit for 3/4 of this game, he missed players that were open, didn't even see others that were open, didn't use his legs for an easy 1st down, do we need to talk about the INT's? I don't know which was worse the floater to an open man who he missed or the fact he threw an INT trying to throw the ball away or the last one which he just threw to their player. A lot of good college QB's do come in and play well, another bunch of them come in and don't suck and then improve and then the Jets draftees.
LOL, pissed that your mechanics suck - still - still throw off your back foot, chuck the ball into the field without regard for situational awareness, yea you shoould be because from my perspective you are the one HOLDING BACK this O not the OC... your the weak link and teams know it..
Zach stinks, Mike Whit is not better.. make Streveler QB1. I bet he will do much better than Zach... Yet another early round QB bust by the Jets... tired of it already. The last decent QB was Pennington, that was ages ago.
It's clear this organization can't draft a decent quality QB, the best bed is to trade another team for someone, that has some life left in him, doesn't matter who the GM is, look how many times Cleveland tried, and bust after bust, they finally had to trade for a QB, Jets need to do the same
The smart people here have been saying this for like 10 months. Blows my mind how many of our fans think winning games automatically means your QB is playing well.
He only had that streak because he made the conscious decision to throw every pass low, which killed his other numbers anyway. When he throws how his natural tendencies tell him to throw he's an interception machine.
My brain hurts from trying to comprehend the mental gymnastics from Sabo here. It's like he can't draw conclusions from anything other than the last 15 minutes of football he watched. Zach has looked like this his entire career. His consistent overthrows led to awful interceptions and incompletions early last year and he's doing the exact same thing this year.
I'm seeing a lot of MLF blame from the ZW supporters, and the opposite from people who don't support ZW. Can we all be honest with each other, they both were crap this week.
Haven’t seen anyone saying that. People are ignoring how Zach is playing because they are winning. I couldn’t give two shits if Zach threw 10 INTs a game as long as the W column goes up by 1.
