What are we. Ground and pound? We ran it 15 times. The play calling is terrible most of the time. I'm done with this guy.
What are we? Stupid, that's what we are. 15 fucking carries, one of them was Zach. Our running backs were called on only 14 times. MLF outsmarted himself again.
Elijah Moore not sounding too happy in the post game interview. One target, zero receptions. Was asked, "How would you describe your chemistry with Zach on the field"? His response, "I don't know, I don't get the ball".
Holding back Moore to 14 snaps 1 target is not the way to repair the bridge with Elijah. We needed him to have a good game to make up for the absence of Cory. Instead Lafleur let his ego get in the way to show Elijah who is boss.
It's impossible to know how much of the problem MLF presents since the triggerman in his offense is so chaotic and unpredictable. The best we've seen out of the Jet's offense is when MLF toned everything down to minimize the chaotic unpredictable qualities in his young QB. We need to remember that last year *every* other QB the Jets tried played at the top of his range with MLF calling plays. This really is a ZW problem and I don't think MLF can fix it.
They are stuck between a rock and a hard place. No matter what they say publically they can not be please with ZW performance. At this point, I thinking he is not the solution and it not just because he played bad today, its his constant inconsistency. If you look at HC presser and look at his body language and what he said... he is not all that please no matter what comes out of his mouth.
Not sure if it is MLF or Zach or both but offense stinks. Today was a huge slap in our collective faces.
