I mean, It's okay to not know much about someone, but at least research It. Idk He was a 1000 yard runner his rookie year, hit 800 yds last year I believe, and has been doing good this year as well rotating. He's not as explosive as Breece, he's still explosive.
Solid move. Wasted no time. He'll fit right in and a good depth piece for the rest of the way. We play the Jags down the road so it could be a revenge game.
What a fn steal for an underrated back. This helps the pain quite a bit! I believe he was their best back, so wow..JD my dude Sent from my SM-F926U using Tapatalk
Will this finally put to rest the criticisms of Douglas not knowing what he's doing, especially as regards having drafted ZW? Of course it won't. It should, but it won't. JD is on top of things, and understands that when a team is on a roll you ride it for all it's worth because you never know what will happen next year. I'm sure this won't fill the hole left by Hall, but hopefully it can fill it in enough.
He's a decent back but I wonder if they rang the phone on Akers... Not sure how Robinson fits in their blocking scheme but that too will change with AVT out.... time will tell.
Great move and JD does it again when it comes to getting lots of value out of trades and acquiring guys that can help wow
I don’t understand why they’ve done their best to move on from him in Jacksonville. Drafted Etienne and then refused to give Robinson touches when they were 2-1 with him as the primary ball carrier in the first three weeks. Love this move even though I was against trading for a back. He’s young and still has plenty of tread left.
I like this move. Not only because it helps the team now, but it also helps us evaluate how good of an OC LaFleur is. Has our run game been effective solely becuase of Breece's talent, or has LaFleur played a role as well?
I was pretty close to be honest, I know who he is and about his career path just haven't watched a lot of Jax to see with my own eyes. I just know he has stunk in fantasy lately lol, Etienne pretty much took over the backfield in recent weeks. A good comp I feel like is a Josh Jacobs. I guess you could call him explosive but not sure it's the word I would use. This is the longest TD of his career but atleast it was recent.
I think Robinson was an UDFA and Etienne is #1 draft choice so they kind of had to in some sense--maybe?
Douglas can be criticized for many things, but he has hit it out of the park when it comes to trades.
No financial commitment beyond this year and who gives a shit about a 5th round pick. The Jets needed a RB.
Not dogging the move btw, I really like it and not sure we could have done better. Don't think this FO likes Hunt, probably a character thing with the new locker room environment.
