I think if anything they will call up San Fran and get Tevin Coleman back in here. They got McCaffrey and Wilson so TC is expendable.

 

Moving a pick for a RB is inexcusable IMO.

Yes. I like Carter in a 3rd down back role but he’s not a bell cow nor is he very explosive. Bam was a punishing back at NC State that the CFB team is severely missing this year. Give the big boy some carries.

 

Really like Bam in pre season he looked good enough to make the roster. Hopefully Hall isn’t out too long but if he is I want this kid up asap!

 

I'd suggest trading Denzel Mims for Cam Akers, straight up, but we probably shouldn't be getting rid of receivers with Corey Davis injured today and Elijah Moore's status up in the air.

Kareem Hunt would be a great pick up. He wants out of Cleveland.

 

Ty Johnson is who he is, and he's serviceable. Carter, Johnson, Bam is a good Trio.

The Saints just signed Jordan Howard; his style could have help move the chains even though he lacks explosiveness.

 

I am all for trading a day 3 pick for someone like Hunt (even though I hate him as a human). We can’t be fucking around with practice squad players trying to replace the best and most important player on our offense. And I like Bam, I just don’t think we’re in a position for trial and error.

 

Hadn't heard he wants out but he'd go right to our #1 back. He runs hard every play, blocks, and is decent receiver. Total win if we get him. I'd go as high as a 3rd but don't think it'd take that.

I wouldn't be mad about using a late Day 3 pick to acquire, but also don't think it's necessary. Carter is a solid back and Ty Johnson can also play. Let's give Bam some playing time and see how he looks. This is the time to lean a little more on the passing game. The way Hall was playing, there's no way this current group, while I have some hope for, can match what Hall had been for the offense.

 

I think giving up a pick for a half season rental RB is insane. It's not like we are a SB contender.

Depends on the price for me. I am OK with a 5th rounder for Kareem Hunt but no 3rd or 4th.

Cleveland isn’t getting rid of him. They still have playoff hopes and he’s too good to get rid of without a replacement.

 

They have another guy named D'Ernest Johnson who filled in for Chubb 2 games in 2021 and he kicked ass.

I'm ok for a 3rd if we sign him to 2+ years--he is that good. But maybe with Breece and MC1 I guess we don't need him more than a rental so ya--even less than a 5th for me as a rental.

 

Hunt is absolutely available. With Nick Chubb and D'Ernest Johnson Hunt is expendable. There have been several stories lately detailing the Browns willingness to deal Hunt. Here's one.
