Ulbrich has taken a load of flack on here in the past and rightly so. Even up until a few weeks ago many posters were questioning the amount of rotation used across the defensive line, but what’s been striking is how dominant the defence has been late into games. It’s still weird to see the best players sat out, but I think the energy left in the tank going into the fourth quarter is one of the reasons we’re winning games like today.
This cant be understated. Guys too focused on stats and only follow the ball on camera dont see everything that actually happens. Honestly its a testiment to how good this team actually is to win. Well I had said I’d be impressed if we won and was expecting a loss, so color me impressed…mostly with the defense Zach … man … I am losing faith in him…he’s WAY too inaccurate…there were a few throws today to open receivers that he missed high or behind them…and a few catches he was bailed out on he’s just too damn inaccurate. At least he’s not throwing picks but if he doesn’t improve by year end…ugh Winning covers a lot… on another note I hope AVT Hall and Davis aren’t serious
I hope its not a serious injury for breece. Especially ACL as a rookie, that's harsh. It's nice that we have michael carter as the backup though.
You try threwing with cartlidge damage to his rib area... Hard to breath w/o pain much less play Pro Ball. Also, he has playing that way for weeks ... IMHO, ZW would not play with that injury.
This team is definitely good. They beat the Broncos in Denver with atrocious QB play. That's takes a lot of talent from everyone else.
Why? That makes no sense. Check out what Denver did to Herbert, Geno, Carr. They simply are a stingy ass pass defense. They don’t let up and play tight coverage. Add into the fact that Hall, Davis and AVT went down, it was going to be ugly even before those injuries.
If its affecting him that much to a detriment then dont play. From what i see, its not been a major issue. Its not causing him to miss throws and make bad reads.
Put this in perspective, we passed for 100yrds, we had 11 penalties, and we're 3 for 11 on 3rd down conversions. We're 4-0 with Wilson as QB, he's thrown 1 TD and rushed for another That's just insane
