Well, this one is officially done now. Immediate needs are a true cover corner, a pass rusher and a run stuffing ILB (possibly Schlegel)

It wasn't the corners faults today. They were left alone in single coverage. The Pats picked up our blitzes perfectly.

Ill be looking for Schlegel to step up in training camp if he wants to play next year. We could do with the corner aswell

Plus they need to extend the contracts of Cotchery and Rhodes

look at our schedule for next year, we will not win 8 games unless we make drastic improvements in every area of our team

We're capable of it. We're well under the cap (though a lot of teams are) and we have a number of good draft picks. Unfortunately, they're rather late.

Without a doubt, the biggest thing that needs to be done is get stronger in the trenches. It has been the biggest problem all season long, and it was the biggest problem again today.

We need a fat ass DT, to shift Robertson to DE, and get Kimo the hell outta here.

We also need better blocking from the right side of the line of both the pass and run varieties. Machael Turner or Clinton Portis would also be huge.

After extending Cotchery and Rhodes, I hope we can sign three or four of the following players before the draft. Then we can draft BPA with every pick IMHO:

    Tight Ends
    Jerramy Stevens, UFA, Seattle Seahawks
Daniel Graham, UFA, New England Patriots
Eric Johnson, UFA, San Francisco 49ers

    Wide receivers
Kevin Curtis, UFA, St. Louis Rams
    Kelley Washington, UFA, Cincinnati Bengals

    Offensive Line
    Leonard Davis UFA Arizona Cardinals
    Eric Steinbach, UFA, Bengals
    Floyd Womack, UFA, Seattle Seahawks

    Defensive Line
    Terdell Sands UFA Oakland Raiders
    Dwight Freeney, UFA, Indianapolis Colts
Jared Allen, RFA, Kansas City Chiefs
    Justin Smith, UFA, Bengals
    Edward Jasper, UFA, Philadelphia Eagles

    Linebackers
    Lance Briggs, UFA, Chicago Bears
    Na'il Diggs, UFA, Carolina Panthers
    Cato June, UFA, Indianapolis Colts
    Adalius Thomas, UFA, Baltimore Ravens

    Defensive Backs
    Nate Clements, UFA, Buffalo Bills
Asante Samuel UFA New England Patriots
    Ken Hamlin, UFA, Seattle Seahawks
    Tyrone Carter, UFA, Pittsburgh Steelers
    Deon Grant, UFA, Jacksonville Jaguars
    Michael Lewis, UFA, Philadelphia Eagles
    Donnie Nickey, UFA, Tennessee Titans

With this regime we are capable of winning another 10 games next year. Remember that the rest of our division are going to have to play basically the same schedule as us. I believe that with a little retooling on defense and running back we can take the division next year. I guess it all depends on how things go this offseason

    Off Season Needs

1-D'brick needs to bulk up. He didn't play bad but needs to play better. Needs to get bulk up and get stronger to protect Chad better.
2-Chad- keep working on his arm strength
3-Bruising RB- Leon is good but Cedric is not the answer. We need a bruising back maybe Michael Turner or someone in the draft. Even Clinton Portis being that we wouldn't expect him to have all of the carries here.
4-A guard. Something is run with our O-line that we are not getting to the linebackers when we run up the middle. I think we made need a change at our guards.
5-Defensive 7- Kimo sucks and needs to be replaced. Our D-line is not that physical. We need to sign someone big and physical. Our linebackers I think we can address in the draft to add more depth.
6- We need a corner like Asante SAMUEL. Bring him over here. I think he might be a free agent
7******* YES I SAID IT. BRING RANDY MOSS OVER HERE. We could never throw down the sideline and be successful because we need a tall speedy receiver that will get up there. Coles is too short to do that, McCairens(SPELL CHECK) is too slow to get up field and beat a Corner. Our best bet right now is Cotchery. It is not Chad's fault we don't ever throw up the sideline. If Randy Moss want's to come bring him.

lets face it, we had a great year but today we saw a lot of holes in our game. We can't stop the run, no legit pass rusher, no running back, offensive line still needs work. Its sad to say that next year we might step back again do to the difficulty of the schedule.

i agree with everything accept 7. If you bring a speedy WR you need to switch QBs to Clemens who can get him the ball. Lets face it, Chad cant throw the ball 50 yards.
