We'd have to have the Texans eat some of his salary though. I don't think we have a lot of cap space left.
I think they leave in free agency for more money, not because of BB. My point again is, players value their paychecks more than team support, obviously they to want to win, but I think BB gets rid of those guys. Tyreek left a great team, many other receivers demanded trades for the money..team loyalty is really the exception but a great coach demands it.
he's not going anywhere this year. ZERO chance. the playcalling isnt the problem, they HAD to try to feature him last year cos of injuries. catch rate has to do with 3 things, being open and having a QB throw a catchable ball, and not dropping his rate is do to with the first 2
Part of BBs' demanding that they put team first is that he underpays them. If I were a player, I'd resent the hell out of that. I might put up with it to win one SB, but after than forget that nonsense.
I agree that Moore is not going anywhere this year, at least until the season is over. I totally disagree with the notion that the playcalling isn't the problem, or at least a big part of it. Moore is not being used in the right way. He is not a guy to win 50-50 balls. He is running to many long routes that are slow developing for our OL, so he winds up being a decoy. Zach throws a catchable ball. To say otherwise, is absurd. Favre threw hard his whole career and GB receivers learned to adapt and didn't blame Favre. Jets receivers need to learn to catch and hold onto the ball. Moore was never open in the GB game. That's on HIM and MLF, not Zach. Stats have been posted that he has had his opportunities, but he only has a 56% catch rate. That's is pretty mediocre. Again that is totally on Moore, not Zach.
All players hate being told to take a paycut for the good of the team/cap. When a coach like BB consistently offers below market contracts that bubbles up from time to time. The only reason BB got away with it is that the best player on the team was willing to put up with it *and* the team was winning out over and over again.
Bad look. I don't think guys, especially new guys, should be taking shots at anybody else, particularly those who have seen more of what's going on in the organization. Is Gardner really that desperate for recognition he needs to get involved at all? Just another guy who needs to take care of his own job and let everything else alone.
First of all i dont think many players get paycuts. Their contract gets restructured for team good. Like mosley. Please cite instances of players signing with new england for pay cuts or below market value
btw, all the GG guys who think they can be an OC in the NFL?? lmfao at the arrogance. Zach hadda 55% completion rate last year, part him, part unopen guys, part drops Elijah isnt all that. Rookie year 77 targets (most on team) 43 catches (55.8%) for 538 yds and 5td who had a 78/42/587 and 2td line? Robbie
Your repeated use of that term is offensive. This is not a middle school playground, it is a playground for adults, try to act like one. Millions of people across this country are affected either personally or by those around them with the burden of mental disability - it can happen to anyone; I'm sure none find comfort in your callous misuse of the term. I often find myself agreeing with some of your points but I find it difficult to support your contentions when you lower yourself this way. You can do much better.
Well put my friend! While I applaud Sauce for taking Moore to task, we don’t need to further provoke this potential (or established) headcase/lunatic. Saleh needs to put this to rest.
Hate tk say it, but you’re right on the $. I’ve really never seen anything like what Moore did before! I HATE TO, full disclosure I wouldn’t have put him in the HOF, but this is arguably -in a certain light-worse than anything that POS ever did. His meltdowns mostly came during losing/so-so-so seasons or in the off seasons. Not in winning seasons. And he had them, as an established, proven player. Elijah ain’t proven yet. And although inconceivable to me, he actually swindled some ppl into supporting him, I’ve yet to see anyone support Elijah.
Not sure if anyone posted it here, but there was a twitter account recently created that was responding to the beat guys defending Moore. Twitter caught on that it was probably a burner and now it’s gone. If that really was him then honestly he needs to go.
I saw the tweets. It was absolutely either him or someone close to him speaking for him. You'd like to think he's smart enough to not create a burner himself but you'd also like to think he's smart enough to not request a trade in the middle of a three game winning streak because he isn't getting enough targets.
