For real man! Great point there about Brown. I know there are people out there trying their best to explain Moore's side of the argument and MLF not using him properly, but I don't see it any other way, except Moore is the bad guy here. I also agree with other posters saying AJ Brown is probably being a bad influence on him, more than likely texting him to request a trade.
I can understand Elijah's frustrations....Flacco targeted him 21 times, Zack, just 7. What I can't understand is Elijah letting his frustrations get the best of him. Speaks to his character. He really seemed like a good kid with his head on straight. The whole situation is very perplexing.
moore isnt good enough for this lol. he was a 2nd round pick in his 2nd year. please just keep him inactive while they win and let braxton ball
Moore is throwing a temper tantrum like a precocious child. Really selfish move. Just when the team is climbing out of the muck and mire he pulls them back in.
Exactly what I alluded to in my post. I can understand him being frustrated about not having any targets last game but this is wild IMO.
His snap count has gone down from 90% in first 4 games to 66% game5 to 58% game6. Good chance the current game plan they're practicing this week led him to believe this trend will continue. Sucks he went public with his dissatisfaction--kids only 22. Let's cut him some slack. He has a lot of talent.
Honestly, all he is doing is coming off as a whiny brat. Not something NFL coaches exactly look for when trading for players.
If he doesn't want to be here. Fine. Ship him to the Commanders. I bet Mims would like the opportunity to play as much as Moore has.
Yeah that's the thing, this was purely an emotional tantrum by Moore. He has absolutely no leverage, so the most likely outcome is he'll see even less targets now (due to being benched) and look like an idiot on top of it. I don't think we should do this but this is the type of player Belichik would send to Zimbabwe for a conditional 6th. These types of illogical and emotional players can turn into locker room cancers quickly.
AJ Brown sees our squad and is trying to destroy it from the inside out and Moore fell for the bait lol
I've seen a lot of stupid shit with this team over the years, but this might be the most childish move so far.
Sorry, when you have a festering sore, you don't let it fester. You get treatment. Treatment in this case is getting good value in a trade. How do you satisfy him? Give him more targets at the expense of who? Distort your game plan? Anything you do to favor him opens up a can of worms for anybody else. He made his bed, based on who knows what. We can speculate, but his bed is public. trade, trade, trade.
People saying bench him and start Mims, when Mims asked for a trade in the preseason. My take is that without the numbers he wont get a good second contract. Its too soon to panic about that but he is obviously concerned about his future here. And IMO part of the issue is Zach. Moore has like 180 yards in 10 games with Zach and nearly 600 in 6 games with other QBs. Mims had over 400 yards with other QBs and less than 100 with Zach. Will Garrett Wilson, who has 214 yards with Flacco and 76 with Zach, be the one asking for a trade next year? Its not all about "were running the ball more". Its about chemistry. Corey Davis's numbers haven't gone down.
I’m glad this happened now and not after they gave him money. Unreal, a second year player takes this stance. Really disappointing, had high hopes for Moore. Writing was on the wall thought with him being more focused on fashion than routes.
How much of that accounts for us going from 11 to heavy 12 the last 2 weeks because we ran the ball well? Game scripts matter.
