I love this guy. He looks and sounds destroyed at this point, as he should. He'll be back and more than ready come next season.
I think it's more depressed and the shock of the season being over....it's his 1st season as coach, lotta firsts. He'll be alot chipper in the next day or two once he has a chance to reflect.
I disagree...he's not smiling and cracking jokes but he's pretty serene even when the Jets win. Bill Parcells last night....now THAT was a 'destroyed' look....Tony Romo....VERY 'destroyed.' I think Manginin is a bit down and serene, that's all.
I missed the part where Mangini would'nt look Bill in the eyes, and barely griped his hand for more then half a second? I could've swore he sucked up his emotions and gave his mentor a hug in the middle of the field... Hrmmmm..
Nothing wrong with being a sore loser, despite what anybody says. It's when you're a sore winner that things can get ugly. That's what Belichik was in the first game. Being upset about losing is the primary motivating factor in not losing.
