After a statement win against the Packers, we travel to a city we barely win. It is a late game that starts at 4:05 PM. What do you think? Do we win? Godspeed Jets!
1 - 0 Broncos. It will be the battle of the Wilsons with Russell coming out on top at the end to beat the Jets. The running game will struggle with Hall which forces Zach to throw often resulting in multiple turnovers. /s
I think if they play smashmouth ground n pound, they'll win as Wilson isn't the QB he was in SEA. Zach is growing into his role now realizing that wins are more important than stats. Now that he defeated his hero, perhaps he can get back to basics again. He's learning how to manage a game and play within the system MLF lays out. And on the MLF note, WTF was up with another QB sneak from the 2 that didn't work again? I thought we were past that nonsense.
Worth mentioning... Denver scheduled this as the Broncos' homecoming game to celebrate the 1997 championship team, as announced earlier in the offseason. In other words, Denver had it checked off as an easy win. Not far different from the Pats a few years back. Hope Saleh acts accordingly.
3 point underdogs, so Vegas is saying the Jets would be 3 point favorites at home. Denver’s offense is absolutely atrocious. They struggle to run the ball. Wilson is blind to anything in between the numbers. Denver’s defense is very good. Expecting the Jets to have a similar gameplan to what they had today. I’d like to see the Jets use the screen game a little more. The Packers were attacking upfield, selling out on the run. Two of the biggest plays of the game were on misdirections taking advantage of the Packers rushing upfield.
Possible trap game. The Jets are coming off a huge road upset - back on the road in high altitude - with a huge game and an eye on the following week vs the Patriots. I believe the Jets are a better team than the Broncos but may succumb to the above elements. They are still young and learning the in and outs of different situations….
I think the Jets offense needs to play a better more balanced game. You can't put that much on the D. I hope the SD game is a tough, rough, fight to the end battle that wears them down.
3 wins in a row. Broncos are bad and this game will be in high altitude. Feel like we will lose a low scoring close game. Hope I am wrong.
I think we've got this one. Tough place to play, but I think we match up well and can win a close game.
This has trap game written all over it, but it's still a great feeling to even be able to use the word "trap game" for the Jets.
I believe both the Jets and the Russell Wilson led Broncos are exactly who they’ve shown to be. I say this is the perfect game to let Zach cook.
