I said it…sike I said I expected us to win in GB boooom winner mfers lets fuckn go and I expect another win next week with no Wilson
That was no fluke. After an uninspiring 1H the Jets pounded the shit out of GB the last 30 minutes. The pass rush was ferocious, they banged up Rodgers all day, they ran the ball down GBs throat, they manhandled the Packers in the 2H, clearly the better football team today.
"I wonder how long I'm going to be ridiculed for my Zach Wilson takes.... I want to be wrong on this kid, I really do--but looks completely in over his head. The only time he plays well is if the running game is carrying him on their shoulders. If we even had Derek Carr, we probably are in the playoffs this year." - @FrontOfficeFanatic Until next time Zach has a rough stretch
This is a legit old school ground and pound with a ferocious defense type team that Rex tried to build. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I hear trying to call all of this out but this is the wrong game to plant the victory flag on Wilson being a good QB. You had a case the past two weeks. He playoff Mark Sanchez’d this game.
Were they bad when they said it? Because honestly hanging our hat on beating this GB team...meh and so far the JETS have been horrendous EVERY GAME at one point or another.
Pretty much 5 minutes after this was written Zach threw for 80 percent of his yards. I'm not saying he had a good game, but that deserves a mention.
I LOVE Saleh's post game as well. "This win doesn't mean anything." Not getting too happy, realizes that while the talent base has broadened and they're still a work in progress, he won't allow his team to be satisfied. Even keeled, that's a great sign from Saleh, that's correct leadership.
Look it, they're far from a finished and consistent NFL playoff team, however, when you have the kind of talent in multiple ways on all 3 levels of a football team that the Jets do, I reject this notion that the Jets are "a bad football team." Even when they have not played well this season, as frustrating as things get, and will continue to get, the Jets don't qualify as "bad." This is an emerging football team that is getting better while providing some really feel good moments the first 6 weeks of this season. They'll continue to be inconsistent at times as they continue to grow, but the process is fun to watch and inspiring when you consider what they could become for not only the rest of this season, but for the next few years ahead.
