I think if we get a good draft and put together a decent D, we won't have to worry about this next year because WE will be hosting the playoff game.

Pick 1+2 should be on defense. From there on it should be fine.

I think the D did a decent job we lost the game because we didnt take advantage of redzone opportunities and that lateral.

It starts on the D line. Mangini needs beef up front.

It seems that the Defense never got over the "shock" of that fumble.
Pennington and the Jets came back and kept moving the ball, but after the initial hold to a FG, the D just wasn't in it anymore.

we definitley need a clogger in the middle, and von ol whatever is crap, i don't see a rb in the 1st round as an extreme need, just a compliment back.

We need a big ass run eating NT. Like wilfork did to Leon sometimes today. He took him down with one big meathook of an arm. We need that and it takes the pressure off the rest of the LBs and D to make run stopping plays. Once we do that get a quality 1st rounder, I think we will see a drastic difference.

Shoring up the running back situation, maybe through FA? I'd concentrate on the D for the most part, maybe an O-lineman on the right side to sure that up.

are you serious? fuck, we have no pass rush, cant stop the run and our DL blows. We can't convert in the red zone cause chad can't zip it in there when there is sucha slim margin of cushion. but our defense blows

We need balance. If we can't run the ball, move the chains, and stop the run, we won't go far in the playoffs.

Our draft needs will depend on what we can do in free agency.
