If we beat Packers at 1PM and Bills lose to the Chiefs at 4:25PM Jets will be leading AFC East after 6 games. Dolphins also hosting Vikings which is a 4-1 team. You never know.

I wonder how many years its been since scenarios like this were even discussable. I'm guessing more than 10. Not only because the Jets have been on a tough run but for a long time there the Patriots had things sewn up by about the 3rd week of September. All we had to do was live long enough to eventually see it lol!
In the Mc Cown year we played the Patriots for first place when both teams were 3-2. We also should have won that game, going up 14-0 in the fist 1st quarter, but the refs were terrible. We were set to go up by even more when Anderson got a terrible illegal hit that drew 3 flags, and would have given us a first down at the NE 35. Then the refs got together and decided, "nah, it the ridiculously brutal helmet to helmet hit wasn't illegal". That was also the game ASJ fumbled the game tying TD through the endzone.
