What’s more completely predictable when the Jets win? Totally manic fans talking about the playoffs or leaking vaginas whining about the insufficiently faithful.
This was a great team win. Special teams came up big, pinning the fins and allowing the safety that changed the game. QB play was solid against a fins D that brings a lot of pressure. They focused on G.Wilson and so we found another way to win. Next they will focus aon Hall and it will leave others open. Great adjustments. For those upset about how close it was or the fact that we beat a 3rd string. I ask this, do you think teams that beat us care that we have all these injuries to our line? No, they just come in and do as they should. Our patch work line held out well, we made plays when we needed to. Not that long ago we would have dropped another game to another back up. Yet we find ways to win. We wanted to see this team play better. We wanted them to be competitive. We see doing that, now fans act like we should be winning every game by 20+ Enjoy the win. Hope you all have a safe night for those getting home. Best, Stealth
we were winning the whole game.. we played meh in the middle then won going away... 3 times we scored on 1st and goal from 1, 1 and 5 ON FIRST DOWN that was nice Zach didnt fumble or thro an INT
For all those saying that Zach played "Okay", sorry but he did much better than that. No INTs, no turnovers, only a couple of bad throws, but even Rodgers and Manning would have a few of them a game. As for his receivers "bailing him out" on a few, that's what good receivers do. And Zach had some really key 3rd down completions when the game was in doubt. Finally, MLF dialed back the passing game to slow the game down and try to keep the ball out of Miami's hands with their explosive weapons. I honestly don't know what people expect of a guy who has played less than one full season of pro ball.
I loved that move at the time and it's paying off now even more that I think anyone could have imagined just a year and some change into his career.
Agree with you 100%. Most would have been happy to see the Jets edge the Dolphins by 3 points. If anyone told us the Jets would hang a 40-spot on the Fins we'd tell 'em to put the pipe down and get some oxygen.
Excellent question, both feedbacks are predictable and expected, but it takes a major brain failure to demand for a CS change after such a win. You are so right, awful move indeed, almost as bad as picking a sorry ass RB in a move up in the second round with Hall. /s The A+ rating for JD is looming large in 2022.
Zach played much more consistent this week and made crucial throws when needed. That 4th down throw was a great throw that CD was interferred with. OMG his receivers made good catches that is what they are supposed to do. The passing game got the ball to one yard line twice. Stats wise it was unlucky not getting those two TD passes and ran in 1. Zach was much better than ok today.
Why would I be sad about a great draft or not being fired when they are winning? Odds are next GM will unnecessarily put us thru the same nonsense JD just did. I can’t handle that again. I want him to succeed. the snarky sycophant victory lap you are trying to take rn is bizarre tho. I loved the win as much as anyone. But to put it in perspective was this JDs first divisional win in his 4th yr of contract? Against a rookie 3rd stringer. i think there’s going to be a rough season ahead. But if they showing progress and fight I’m on board. A divisional win is progress. props to you for finally admitting 2020 was a disaster.
For the people praising McDaniel can you tell what that call on 4th and inches was all about. I am glad he called it but what a bad call.
You've been taking victory laps ever since Douglas was hired. I know it hurts. Maybe next week you can jump back on the suck wagon.
