Great news about Brown. Small sample size but he played well in preseason. I bet AVT could slide out to RT. If Benton wants the best 5 out there, McDermott shouldn't even be on the premises. At some point the Jets have to break their ridiculous losing streak against the divison. They have to be due. And they also have to start winning within the divison to be anywhere near a decent team. Also, they need to start putting together a winning "streak". There's been no semblance of that under this regime. They can't keep laying eggs and letting weeks pass between wins. A win tomorrow would be a hugely positive step. 2-2 through 4 is not bad for this team. 3-2 would be surpassing expectations of most, me certainly. To show signs they're turning a corner, a win tomorrow would be a big deal and I'd feel a lot more optimistic on the whole
Always been an issue I have had with defensive ranking, they may be 10th best in yards allowed but they are 25th in points allowed. Let's see if they can limit the yards and points tomorrow

Really happy this is a home game. Need to keep it close until half while yet another makeshift O-line gets their shit together. If it's a one-score game at half, and the game starts to slow down for the reshuffled line, anything can happen.
The colors of the New York Jets are, and have always been, green and white. Perhaps you'd also be fine with a new team name and location.
There is green trim and green numbers, I also really don’t care all that much. I think anybody in their right mind would look at something mostly black and white with green trim and think Jets. If not, then you’re thinking way too hard about it.
1. I predict Marine Mammals 31 New York Jets 27, with Hill, Waddle AND Gesicki a little too much to contain (who covers the TE?). But I think this is winnable and I’m excited to watch. Mostly I want to see with Zach we get—4th quarter Zach or… the other Zach 2. I love the green/white/black look. Would also love to see green/black/white one of these days.
