I just looked up the receiving yardage leaders (best four players) on the Top 8 seeds in last year's playoffs. In some instances, this included one TE (and three WRs) instead of four WRs. That's 32 players (4x8 = 32). Do you know how many were 1st Round picks? Five. That's 16%. If you look at just the best two on each team? It's Four - 25%. Now, let's look at QBs on those same teams. 75% were 1st Round picks (Brady and Prescott were not). Now let's look at the sack leaders (best four players) on those same teams. Eleven. That's 34%. Starting cornerbacks on those same teams? Four out of sixteen - 25% Starting offensive tackles on those same teams? Five, but it's six if you count La'el Collins (who was the #1 rated tackle until a week before the draft when he became a murder suspect of his ex-girlfriend, and went undrafted). 38% To put it another way, Super Bowl contenders are more likely to have first round defensive linemen and offensive tackles, than they are to have first round receivers and cornerbacks. And they will almost always have a first round QB.
So you're talking 25% v 38% it is hardly a huge swing is it. Never mind, I have decided to concede that you are indeed the best drafter this site has ever seen. Maybe @Brook! will get you a smart signature saying 'Best TGG drafter 2022' under your avatar.
This would only come from someone who thought the last election was stolen. If this political joke it too much my bad
You know who else thought Darnold was a better prospect than Allen? Maccagnan, the Jets General Manager (and almost everyone else in the NFL). Now explain to me again how NFL front office personnel are sooo much better at talent evaluation than the average informed fan ... But let's see what some of our other forum members thought about the QBs in the 2018 draft. How about this guy ... Or this guy ... Or this guy ... This guy made the text really large and put it in bold. He must have thought it was important ... This guy loved Josh Rosen ... This guy thought Allen was a combination of Hackenberg and Bryce Petty (high praise) ... This guy really didn't like Allen ... Another guy who didn't have Josh Allen in his Top 3 QBs (and apparently didn't think Mahomes was any good either) ... This guy liked Mayfield, didn't like Allen, but wanted the Jets to draft Barkley with their pick ...
Did you actually read the posts of mine you quoted? Your little highlight words bear no relevance to what is in the actual posts lol You need to develop some reading comprehension, one of those posts you attribute to me, is actually me saying what other people have said about the QB's you absolute retard. Another one is me repeating somebody else in a sarcastic fashion, in fact, all of them are like that, the clues are in the posts if you learn to read lol Keep on digging you berk Oh, you did get one thing right, I wanted the Jets supporting Barkley over the QB's, and let's be fair, in a choice between them, I'd still have Barkley over Darnold. You have given me a good laugh though
So looks like Brown will be ready to play LT this Sunday. And Benton said the best 5 will be out there. I expect either AVT to RT or maybe one of the other tackles ready to step in and play RT and AVT back to RG.
