Seriously though. The Jets have spent second and fourth round draft picks in back to back drafts on running backs. They flexed their draft pick nuts by burning a second round pick on a runningback.

We’re walking into a historically difficult place to play and one that’s been even worse for the Jets. We have backup tackles in. I’d rather have Wayne Hunter than McDermott in.

Run the ball early and often. Keep the kid upright and play ugly football in the first half.

Someone better tell the defense that the game starts at 1pm not 245pm

If the Jets want Zach Wilson to be any good they have to fully support him to get there and part of that process is no less than 50/50 run/pass selection.

They also need to have him under center 90% of the time - probably should have him there all the time because that sets up effective play action which will open up the deep field for his bombs.

The guy is good at a few things and mediocre or worse at a lot more. Let him do the things he is really good at and he has a chance.

It's obvious that the Jets need to run the ball a lot to both have a chance at a win and to protect Zach.

Which means LaFleur will go pass happy in his calls...

They averaged 2.6 ypc last week in the 1st half. I don’t agree with running just to run. The OLine just needs to run block better so they can stay committed to it.

LaFleur knows what he's doing... over 3 games he had Flacco pass 562 times, which enabled the Jets to have a lead for 22 seconds! With a record like that this season, I have full-confidence he'll have the players ready to run the ball 50 times, for 96 yards, & pass 11 times. It's not about running or passing... it's about designing a game plan that utiilizes all his playmakers effectively. For example, where's Elijah Moore been? It's seems LaFleur is unable to scheme a gameplan that uses all his weapons, spreads it around, & mixes run & pass effectively.

Easy to say just run it. If it's working sure but if you fall behind by two scores in the second half no.
