Not at all. Given our choices of QB, Zach is our best hope although he is brittle. White has the Bengal game on his resume but that's about it. SloeJoe? fuggedaboutit.. We're choosing from the cream of the crap.
Plus, even if one can elude the rush and a tackle or two, the Met Life Turf Monster awaits, consuming ligaments and tendons by the dozens...
"should" A one in a million comeback made possible by the other team's stupidity doesn't mean you're a good team.
It's not solely the secondary. The dline gets no pressure, the secondary gets burned, the linebackers... we have linebackers? Sorry man, that's all coaching. Our lauded dline is laughable, yet we can't scheme a blitz to cover up the deficiency. Players out of position. Stupid, drive extending penalties. Coaching.
This d line is extremely over rated. Maybe they look great in training camp because the o line is that bad.
This is the question everybody should be asking and the ownership should be looking at hard right now.
The answer is obvious - we're horrendously coached. Good coaches don't produce teams that are consistently trailing by double digits come halftime. Even with all the bad coaches we've had lately I don't recall us ever being down early this consistently. We're also undisciplined which is on the coaches.
Then youre not watching. Flacco has missed him plenty and hes been open plenty. Flacco has just been bad
