That is actually why I think the Jets can win. It's not like they had a good game yesterday. They are due for one.

That my friend is the key... last game little pressure and one sack. DL needs to stepup big time.

At 0-2 the Bengals will be desperate, while the Jets know that they got away with one. Plus they have Burrow. Feels like a loss to me. Can only hope the youngsters keep maturing and showing flashes.

I can't believe I am saying this ..but Cin should be worried about the Jets

That doesn't mean the Jets should win lol

I expect a close game given what other posters have noted

A good time to meet the Bengals while they are in disarray. It may be a few more games before they get their act together.

Two teams heading into a game with much different mindsets.

Bengals are dealing with a lot of doubt right now.

The Jets are walking on air and the win in Cleveland has them thinking something special is brewing.

I feel like the Jets will put all 3 phases of their game together this weekend and the crowd at the Big Air Conditioner will be in full throat.

I like the Jets bigly in this game.

    2-1 coming up.

    Book it.

Remember the Bengals weren't some juggernaut last year. They were 7-6 at one point and got hot at the right time.

That being said they are very scary and dangerous team. Burrow and Chase can be lethal and they have a strong defense. Obv the OLine is weak but can the Jets exploit that?

spot on… i was talking before the season with a friend, about how loaded the afc was, and how i wouldnt be surprised if cinci didn’t even make the playoffs this year. A little more extreme, but along the same lines, i could have even saw them finishing last in their division. Like you said this isnt some juggernaut, and at the end of the day they are still ‘the bungles’

People were even talking about Taylor being fired mid season right around that Jaguars v Cinci game. Taylor looked so far in over his head. Nice post + good point. Spot on

This is a winnable game but the Bengals will come out with a sense of desperation. As you said the AFC is loaded. They go 0-3 and their season is toast.

Definitely a winnable game for the jets, but will the nfl and the refs allow the afc superbowl representative from last year go to 0-3?.

Picked the Jets last week based off of sheer optimism.

I see no reason to change now.

    Jets 27 Bengals 24

I picked the Jets to win in week 1 and to lose in week 2. I hope to continue my losing ways and picked the Jets to lose this week. Bengals 31, Jets 14.

Spot on, the Bengals are your classic get hot at the right time team last season ala a couple of those Giants teams that won the Super Bowl with Eli. They are not the Chiefs or Bills in any way. With that said they do have a lot of talent on the offensive side and game breakers. I like the way our defense is set up against the Bengals. Hopefully we get some pressure on Burrow. I'm also hoping that LaFleur lets Flacco push the ball down the field some more as well.

The Bengals will try to get back to basics with Joe Mixon here. Especially since they will see on film how successful the browns were with Chubb
