i tried to respond to Jetfan in Ne but the game thread was locked withing 15 secs of the whistle. watching the play by play it looked like Brissett ran for 21 yds and there were still 16 seconds left. SO my heart sank and i thought short completion and kick and we still lose

The funniest thing is if Chubb had just falled down at the 1 instead of being a selfish hotdog, the Browns could have run out the clock.
Glad we won. We got very lucky but we also had some awful calls by the refs. I don't know if they evened out. I thought the Browns deserved this win as when it mattered they drove the field. While again, I am glad we won I felt in some ways better about our performance against Baltimore as we looked like more of a complete team. But, today the offense showed a lot against a tough Browns D and the team showed resilience and fight all day long. So many times this team could have given up but they never stopped coming.But, better to be lucky than good. Beat the Bengals next week and maybe I will believe that the Jets will be worth paying attention to in October.
