As hard as it is to keep things in perspective I think the Jets are doing the right thing starting Flacco and as a franchise and fanbase patience still needs to be the order of the day. Losing your top OL guy and your #1 QB before you even get your feet under you for the season is an absolute shot to the solar plexus for any NFL operation, even a top shelf one. And lets face it, the Jets aren't being accused of being top shelf by anyone to begin with.

You just hope Flacco can steady things, find the guys and make the throws that need to be made, and honestly he pretty much did that in week 1. The Jets just need to give him that extra heartbeat of time because he's old and slow. All that said though I'd probably say that this week if things are just totally going down the toilet you probably are in territory where you need to pull him. Hopefully that won't be the case.

I'm thinking the same as you. Don't know what to expect.

I think the Jets D will be really strong, but I don't know about the O.

Damned. Our best blocking TE is doubtful for the game, where he typically plays real great against.

I predict our O to outshine our D. Rookie WR gets first TD, Sauce first interception. There, I said it. My voodoo shall prevail.

Yes, I feel the exact same way. D will come out and play well, but the offensive. Well lets just say I hope we can run the ball well. Defensive will probably be just as respectful as the Ravens game, and hold the Browns to a decent score. I hope lol.

I wonder how nimble Flacco will look with Myles Garrett chasing him all afternoon? (insert sarcasm) Who exactly was the Ravens top rusher? Joe didn't look so good

We got some encouraging news. Browns tackle Chris Hubberd is out, and their other tackle Jack Corklin is questionable. They already had their starting center and a left guard on IR. This could give our guys up front a boost.

Our only injuries are Zach, and Uzomeh who is doubtful.

Yeah, it is setting up well for a Jets upset win, but I really worry about the Browns pass rush and Flacco's lack of mobility. If the Jets find a way to protect him or Flacco gets the ball out fast, they can do well. If not, it could get ugly.

On the other side, the Jets defense needs to step up and dominate against the Browns offense. They need to force some turnovers too. That is the way to win without your starting QB.

It has always been my philosophy that the worth of the coach starts with game 2. The first game is always iffy, and coaches need to apply what happened to game 2. Well here we are. The defense played great, not sure what adjustments they will make except to fix the communication between players. The offense...,i guess they feel they can create more space for flacco. We will see how they do this. How will they use the rookies? Offensive schemes?

They need G. Wilson to take more snaps...

He's dynamic out there... I don't care if he can't block or isn't 100% up on the playbook.

I don’t usually predict the results or outcome, but I am going for the upset. We don’t play Cleveland well in Cleveland. I am going with the Jets making less mistakes, and hopefully eat up the time with a good running game.
