Jordan Montgomery 5-0, 1.47 ERA since being traded with his only complete game shutout of his career under his belt.

Usually you get that player that other teams hate, they come to your team and you learn why his previous teams fanbase loved him.

Not this guy, he's just an ass hole of a human.

From what I read, they are both coming back next year. Shame

Trading a starting pitcher from a first place team on a historic pace for another outfielder who can’t play. This is like 5-D chess, next level maneuvering.

I actually like adding Bader the player. Good defense, can run, doesn’t strike out an obscene amount, etc. But yeah the context of the trade made literally no sense and when the Cardinals trade for someone (especially a pitcher), they usually know what they’re doing.

From another standpoint, you also don’t give away lefty starters that throw 96 but what do I know.

Diaz has a legit gripe there.

Maybe hindsight is clouding my judgment, but there are moves you need to make, like cutting bait on Joey Gallo, that won’t fuck with the chemistry in the locker room.

On the other hand, pitching really isn’t the Yanks problem at this point. They have a Swiss cheese lineup without Rizzo.

Benintendi is out for the year, so hopefully Bader can get in soon. I haven't heard much about when they expect him back.

Judge is carrying this team on a level not seen in a very long time.

Foresight or hindsight the Bader for Montgomery flip was a bad move for the Yankees. Nothing about it made sense. I may have just appreciated it because Bader feels like a decent baseball player not just a OBP specialist.

Judge is unquestionably the MVP this year. Soto who?

Really got to wonder why anyone would pitch to him right now given how shitty the rest of the lineup has been.

I don't get why Judge only has 82 walks.

Not saying he was as dangerous at PED Bonds the year he hit 70 homers, but he had over 170 walks.

It's almost as if they want to have the worst statistical third batter of all time

There's so many guys that need to go. Donaldson, IKF, Torres, Hicks. They need. To replace half the batting order.

7 guys who can’t hit and your only slugger leading off. IKF batting cleanup. Makes all kind of sense.

They need to DFA or trade Hicks, he's beyond toast. That was embarrassing in one of the biggest games of the year. He can't wear a Yankee uniform past this year.

And Franky Montas is garbage. Bad luck or not he's allowing multiple guys on base each inning, then we are supposed to be excited when he goes 5 innings.

This is the worst first place team I’ve ever followed. Top to bottom, on the field and off, there’s just massive holes everywhere.

Nobody forget we couldn't pay Judge because we have Hicks 70 million, and we were told that by Cashman.

YES trying hard to push the injury excuse. When the offense was near or fully healthy from July to beginning of September they were the worst in baseball during that time.
