we definitely looked good today but more than anything the Falcons looked awful. The OL/DL drills were happening about 15 feet in front of me and I could count the amount of times on one hand we had someone get beat for a sack.
Is that good or bad? I need reports about how shitty we look to bring me down to earth. It's where I feel most comfortable as a Jets fan...
How many D-Linemen are they going to keep on the active roster? 1. Quinnen Williams 2. Carl Lawson 3. JFM 4. Jermaine Johnson 5. Solomon Thomas 6. Sheldon Rankins -- could be a surprise cut, --- but it would be like $5 million in CAP savings 7. Nathan Shepherd - could be a surprise cut 8. Micheal Clemons --- we can't stash him on the PS ---- he'll get scooped up to someone else's active roster. 9. Bryce Huff - he's missing a couple of practices w/an injury -- not helping his cause. 10. Jacob Martin --- this one actually bugs me -- a LOT of $$ for a guy with very little production. https://www.si.com/nfl/jets/news/fo...alls-edge-jacob-martin-big-time-underachiever 2021: 11 solo tackles, 4 sacks, 14 games (HOU) 2020: 13 solo tackles, 3 sacks, 10 games (HOU) 2019: 6 solo tackles, 3.5 sacks, 9 games (HOU) 2018: 7 solo tackles, 3 sacks, 9 games (SEA) 3 year, $13,500,000 contract including a $3,465,000 signing bonus, $6,000,000 guaranteed, I guess Jonathan Marshall heads back to the PS. Tanzel Smart too. Jabari Zuniga likely cut or PS. I really don't see Vinny Curry making it w/this group.
Q, Lawson, JFM, JJ, Clemons, Thomas, Rankins, Huff, Martin would be my guess. Zuniga hits the PS with Marshall and Smart. Curry and Shepard cut.
Awesome! Because he doesn't hurt his knee. If he hurts his knee, he's an idiot for trying that in pre-season.
Out on the lake again today everybody so I’ll try my best to post the tweets but no promises I’ll get them all!
