You're either in control or in doubt. So far Zach has been in doubt on the field. This is one of the reasons I really think the Jets need to modify the offense to something he is more comfortable with. Streveler was in control. Whether he can play QB in the NFL is an open question but it looked like he harbored no doubts while running the offense LaFleur wants to run.

We don't draft good QB's anymore. Better off just buying one on the market and spending those high DP's on BPA position guys.
I could see them bringing in a guy like Garoppolo to compete, who is a FA next year. But I do not see the FO bringing in any competition for Zach until 2024. Zach will get 3+ years to show what he can do unless he gets a serious injury
Not saying the Jets are catching lightning in a bottle--hardly--but your post reminds me of Johnny U's unlikely path to the NFL: Streveler looks like a righty Tebow with a better wing (actually thinking Saints' Taysom Hill; good jock / run-first QB)
Wilson has all the physical talent to play QB in the NFL. It's a matter of what's between his ears. Hoping for the best.
