I generally agree but if I have to hear "the OL needs time to gel" one more time during my Jets fandom it'll be the end of me.
Yes. In 2021, 9 wins got you into a wildcard game. If we can beat 3 of the first 5 teams we play (which are all very good teams), I think we can pick up 6 more wins and at least get into a wildcard game.
I went with 3-2. Browns don't have a QB. Steelers I'm not remotely sold on even being decent this year. And Dolphins blow. Honestly, I feel like there's a 50/50 chance of Burrow regressing.
"The Jets won 4 games last season (Should have won 5) with a Rookie QB and the last ranked defense in the league.
The Bolded is never a good combo...
I will really be disappointed if we don’t beat Browns without DW and the Steelers with no Big Ben I will be upset. I also might go to that Pitt game so I hope they win lol
I'd like to thank all of those who opined. Great insight from all. Various feelings both positive & negative. Looking forward to this season in a big way. Love the new alternate helmet - the MF is straight fire. Let's hope the Big Air Conditioner rocks this season. The Jets will beat the Bengals. I'll stick with my 4-1 prognostication. The AFC Championship Game is scheduled to be played on January 29, 2023. The game will be played at SOFI Stadium in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Chargers will be hosting. The New York Jets will be visiting. 60 minutes (or more) to decide the AFC Championship and a trip to Super Bowl LVII. I go as far as predicting a spot in this game. Super Bowl? Not sure. Zach Wilson will own New York. Mike Francesa was wrong about Sam Darnold. The painting business is tough. Edwin Diaz is currently unhittable - downright filthy. J-E-T-S You know the rest. Paragraphs, man...paragraphs. P.S. The cult of Daniel Vogelbach is real. The MF is bigger than Saul Goodman's bathtub.
I hope you’re right about the wild shootout bc I’m definitely going to opening night on Sept 11 and I’m hoping for a good show. Re Cincy: I’d love for that to be the night MiLF breaks out a game plane going hard in 2TE sets and CJ has a huge game against his old team. It’ll also (hopefully) be CL’s 1st game against his old team and you know he has something to prove.
There are a lot of new starters, but aside from Tomlinson, they're either rookies or JAGs. The rookies have a lot of upside, so if they play well and Zach becomes a respectable starter, then this team will be significantly better than last year's. If not, it'll be a repeat of last year.
2-3 is the most likely scenario. 3-2 is a possibility, but I don’t see us winning more than that. If we’re competitive in the losses, we’re heading in the right direction.
If they start 3-2 then they should be in the mix for a playoff spot. The AFC is loaded however. Bills, Dolphins, Colts, Bengals, Ravens, all of the teams in the AFCW. It will be tough but it would be fun if they can stay in the mix all year. That will tell me things are heading in the right direction.
Haha, This is a fight between Turkish and Greek. As a Kurdish guy I just stay out of this discussion. But if you are referring to the song, great song and I love it.
I can't disagree with this because I feel sort of the same way. I just want them to shut up, go out and kick someones ass instead of always telling us how great they are and never backing it up on the field. Instead of it being 21-0 Baltimore in the 2nd quarter on 9/11 and us feeling hopelessly lost as it usually does every opening game, how about we go ahead 14 or 21-0 in the first half and ride that to an opening day win for once in forever?
