Kinda seems like bullshit to me. The Secret Service is now under George W. Bush's wasteful yet intrusive Department of Homeland Security which has an extensive digital forensics and data recovery operation

 

the NYPost can crawl up into Hunter's underwear but the secret service is just plain out o' luck. Makes sense.

And probably has the budget to hire a couple of JUCO geeks for the rest of the summer as interns.

 

It's not only odd that the messages are allegedly unretrievable, but that they disappeared when the request came in.

It's also odd that the agents texted too. If it's SMS those can easily be snooped upon. Hutchinson's testimony may lead to some much needed changes to the USSS going forward, because this is not only embarrassing but may show there are some agents that need to be released.

Also seems like bullshit to me. If it was the “most important in DOJ history” they’d find some freakin deleted texts. They’d hold accountable those that are ignoring subpoenas, etc..
