I wonder if the Keystone pipeline would have slowed global inflation.

Salon is mainstream media? I had never heard of it before now.

It's pretty interesting that this great expose of the "Liberal website" was done, not by Fox, but by CNN, which many consider a trough of liberal lies.

Now think of how many different stories of this type misleading media has incorrectly impacted your perception of. Social media is a sewer of lies but so many people are content when it tells them what they want to hear.

Lame. You know the pipelines eventual completion would’ve been a good thing for the gas and oil industry regardless if it would’ve been helping right this second (it wouldn’t if it wasn’t completed).

You could’ve done way better than attack something like that.

CNN is reporting that when Trump committed obstruction of justice last week he called " a member of the White House support staff" who was talking to the House select committee investigators.

doesnt really narrow it down but they are reporting the calls were made after Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony, which makes sense since she took the oath and boldly told the truth of his crimes, he would probably want to scramble to make sure no one else did

Secret Service deleted text messages ahead of Jan. 6 riot, says IG

The inspector general for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) notified lawmakers that the U.S. Secret Service had deleted text messages on Jan. 5, 2021 and on the day of the Capitol riot itself after they had been formally requested by investigators.

The chair of the Jan. 6 select committee on Thursday said the panel will try to ”reconstruct” deleted U.S. Secret Service texts messages flagged by an agency watchdog.

In this age of social media, bots, influencers and a born liar President it's hard to pinpoint exactly where the biggest lies come from.

My best guess would be Russia.

    Absolutely serious.

Putin's Russia has weaponized the internet in a way that nobody else has internationally.

China has weaponized it domestically but Russia has gone full liar liar pants on fire mode.

Yup. Russia is known to have huge troll farms that infiltrate social media to help sway opinions and cause disruption in our society. They were hugely successful during the height of covid19 in 2020.

Russia may have weaponized the internet but they wouldn’t be as successful if there weren’t a large amount of undereducated Americans willing to spread their lies via misleading memes and refusal to apply critical thinking.

If Russia is the gun and misinformation is the bullets, undereducated angry white men are the….undereducated angry white men
