If you think the purpose of this thread was to get a rise out of people, you’re showing your bad judgement once again.

I think you need to make a large sign with that statement and go parade around the White House ..

And when you get bored try a couple of laps around the Capital building

You are just a precious gem on this Board my friend

I wouldn't vote for Desantis right now but he has had done good in some areas. Restoration and protection of the Everglades was a big thing to me and the state has already surpassed the 4 year goal they had. Teachers finally got a raise, there needs to be more but he got them into top 5 in the U.S. for starting teacher pay.

So these would be a couple of positives, there are many other policies that his base is behind even if I am not but those are some reason someone might vote for him. You on the other hand post completely distorted quips you get from biased sources. As stated it is not "Don't Say Gay", it's the "Parental Rights in Education" which keeps teachers from trying to instruct 5-9 year old kids about gender identity and other alternate lifestyles. This is not a subject children this age need to be taught in school, if parents at home wish to teach their kids about it at home they can do it at any age.

Desantis is not well liked outside of Florida

When Trump announces his 2024 campaign in Florida, Desantis’ campaign will die before it even gets started

    -

But he’s still only in his 40s. Given how politics works these days, maybe he will be president sometime in the next 40 years

Jailing political enemies is a great way to restore democracy.

Richard Nixon broke the Law and resigned faced with the charges...if Trump broke the Law interfering in Georgia's election or griftong his duped followers of 1/4 billion he should be made accountable

No one is jailing Trump yet ...but as one Tennessee congressman commented "a more criminal crook in Pres history...making Nixon look like 3rd Grader stealing chalk"

Nothing is ever FACTUAL for you Acad only subjective and obtuse..

    Sure...who cares about poles ??

Let's see the actually Charges and we will have something tangible to talk about

The Justice Dept will recognize that Authoritarianism has to be challenged in the interest of preserving free democracy

I love your football acumen but you're terribly biased here tho I guess we all are. Hillary never broke a law? Where were the charges? Charges apparently are made based upon politics with these scumbags. You and I would be in jail--these guys don't get charged except thru political games.

    apparently.....

What does she have to do with the subject of this thread? Why does everything revert to "whataboutism"? (we already have acad to fill that quota)

So we should let politicians break laws and get away with it

    What's worse for restoring democracy?
