I feel like Zach Wilson is an instinctual QB and plays better in actual games than he does in practice or Training Camp or OTA's. Those are the best QB's. If he can continue to master the playbook, improve his accuracy and build chemistry with his WR's, that is truly all you can ask for in these OTA's.

I love less highlight plays, more decisive and consistent plays. Highlight plays are great for ratings but I would argue consistent non flashy play getting the ball out quickly is much much more desirable Zach will fail or succeed by how he performs on 3rd and 4 and 3rd and 6 against man coverage. Consistently and desicively converting 3rd downs is what separates QBs.

this is such a poor take and it’s been answered well already but man I just can’t resist!

no I don’t think it’s been chaotic AT ALL. In fact I think it’s been strategic and planned and well laid out.

the coach comment is just stupid…he inherited Gase without the power to fire him and then when he was fired by ownership JD hires his coach. It’s not like JD hired 2 coaches. So yeah, not chaotic.

same with the QB and DC comments…he inherited and cleaned house.

as to the players traded I assume you’re referring to Leo and Adams? Both good players. Adams was an All Pro, but he’s not great in coverage and I don’t think anyone would go back on that trade for two first rounders. We GOT OVER on that trade in spades. Leo didn’t bring back as much in return but he wasn’t an all pro and in any case maybe redundant with Q on board thanks to Mac’s incompetent drafting.

And by the way, the plan all along was to rebuild through the draft. That meant trading away the few decent players we had to accumulate draft capital. So not chaotic at all but actually planned and strategized and well measured. And he’s used all those picks on premium positions like QB, LT, CB, WR, etc.

seriously, your take is so off base to me.

if you really want to criticize JD then there are legitimate things you can point to like some of the free agency misses or even some of the draft choices like trading back for Mims, maybe Becton, or even Zach if you’re not a fan there…at least those would be conversations worth having.

but the comments above are just laughable…

2022 almost HAS to be a good draft. If Sauce becomes the next Sherman, it's a good draft. If Sauce sucks but Garrett Wilson becomes the next Cooper Kupp, then it's a good draft. If both Sauce and Garrett suck but Jermain Johnson scores 14 sacks, it's a good draft. If all 3 suck but Breece Hall runs for 2000 yards and 15 TDs, it's a good draft!

JD has 4 chances to get the gold star from fans!

(Maybe he'll get 4 gold stars!)

How can you hope for Wilson and Sauce to become Kupp and Sherman?

Kupp and Sherman were both drafted in later rounds.

Wilson and Sauce were both 1st round picks, we should be hoping for nothing short of the next Hopkins and Ramsey. ;)

Becton is worrying me, he ain’t gonna participate and according to cimini he looks big. This after a year off + if you remember, getting his clocked cleaned by Lawson. We need to sign that Reilly guy they brought in last week

    Gase brought Douglas in here.

"Strategic and well planned / laid out" would mean year 4 of Gase/Douglas' tenure. Of course that's not the case

    Traded Adams
    Traded Leonard Williams
    Traded Le'veon Bell
(all 3 guys asked to leave)

he's let multiple established vets walk
Maye, Crowder, Anderson, Beachum, Shell, Montgomery, Jenkins, Hewitt, and more
(they are all leaders, playing elsewhere)

    Its been very chaotic.

Half the freakin guys playing on sundays we dont even know their names but I'm out of line for suggesting there's some stability lacking.

But its OK though to use that same point as excuse when you point to his 6-27 record the last 2 years

I must have missed all the playoff births those guys led us to. Which one of them is tearing up the league now?

I don't know about you but Leonard Williams looks fat to me. (That never gets old)

Well the point I was making is regarding the instability which is clear without tracing their careers after leaving here. But either way your point is something you can say if you end up replacing them and winning.

When you win 6 games total in 2 seasons, never getting out of last place and never even winning a game in the division, you dont have any last laughs

Where’d cimini say he looked big? I see every tweet he makes and all I can find is him quoting b hall saying he didn’t realize how big becton is.
