This could be my "Carlos Beltran" moment for life.

As a Jets fan, I should be used to this kind of haplessness, but jeez. Glad I was working and couldn’t watch.

Wait. Aren't you a Yankees fan? How can that be your Carlos Beltran moment?

I have a lot of friends who are Mets fans who have told me on many occasions how painful that moment was for them.

For them, not you. It's an odd reference for a Yankees fan.

Feel free to test my Yankees fandom at your convenience. Tell me, do you remember Oscar Azocar?

Of course I do. I've been a Yankees fan longer than you've been alive.

Also, when you actually listen to people who have a different opinion than you, you can learn alot about their perspective.

That was a dark time in the 90s, when they Yankees promoted the “Wonderkids” . Oscar Azocar, Roberto Kelly, Jim Leyritz.

I don't like blaming a loss on one specific player. You call me a homer but to me a homer is someone who doesn't acknowledge how the team played and tries to pin a loss on one single player. I'm not buying it. The Rangers haven't played well as a team in their losses.

Who was the guy with the giant glove that got busted for nailing a minor? I can't think of his name. Louis Poloña?

while they havent played very well in the losses, 2 of them were knotted with less than 3 mins to go.

the miss by Strome... is a bad one... the WHOLE loss isn't on him... as TB may have tied......

still a terrible terrible miss at a terrible time
