    btw, I AM CHILL

for me the season was a success once we beat Pitts.

i'da pit our odds vs Caro ~ 1 in 4 after the late season losses
and heading in, i would aput our chances v TB ~ 1 in 5...

Yah. 27 championships softens the blow. But I’ve lived in northern New England for almost thirty years and that one stings. Don’t expect to hear about here.

In NBA history there have 147 series in which a team has a 3-0 series lead -- Teams with a 3-0 series lead are 147-0 in the series. 100% of teams won.

As of 2019 (fastest source I could find for 3-0 series totals) in the NHL, only 4 teams have rallied from a 3-0 deficit to win a series. Teams with a 3-0 series lead are 186-4, which is even higher now due to 3 sweeps this postseason.

To use these numbers alone 147 +189 with 4 series wins from NHL means only 2% of 3-0 series have ended up with the team down 3-0 winning. I couldn't find exact numbers on the MLB in a reasonable amount of time so I won't include baseball (they have 9 total 3-0 series comebacks)

To sum it up, there are only THIRTEEN, 3-0 series comebacks in at least 400-500 situations. Yeah, if Tampa fell down 3-0 they were all but officially dead, especially considering the Rangers had 2 more home games.

ANYWAY, I digress. It's no longer possible scenario and there's no point in discussing it further. Rangers gotta go out and win tomorrow night or they're in deep shit.

I’m off today and tomorrow for a wedding. Starting to get anxious for tonight. Gonna be watching the game during a rehearsal dinner.

Rangers are getting it done tonight.

I honest to God have no idea what to expect tonight. No question that Tampa is the better team last night, but the Rangers have done some amazing things on home ice during the playoffs.

Me neither. If Chytil and Strome are out I hope Goodrow doesn’t center that kid line. I’d probably put Lafreniere on that first line and Kakko on the second. Make a defensive third line of Motte — Goodrow — Vatrano to shut down Stamkos and Kucherov.

I'm nervous, just like I was the previous 2 games. We are way different at home than on the road but its still the 2x defending champs. Score early and do not let them just sit back all game which prevents us from getting into their zone on good rushes.

    moneyline=

    Lightning -130
    Rangers
    +110

Seems a little heavy... am feeling like TB should have a slighter edge than that.(Based on history of x2 SC defender)

I have NO IDEA/VIBE how this will go.

So I am going to put the Ryan Lindgren card back in the holder above my TV. That card was there when the Ranger won Games 1 & 2.

I blast Baba O’Riley before every game since it’s their walkout song at MSG. I usually stand up for the entire game.
