I thought Raanta has been playing pretty well at home for the Canes. Would Anderson have been that much better than him? Idnno..
This series has been all about the Rangers play. When we played well we soundly beat the 'Canes and when we did not we lost to them. The thing that has really stood out is that when the Rangers scored an early goal and followed up on that the 'Canes have had nowhere to go. Hopefully we'll get off to a good start early on Monday and then put another one in the net and the 'Canes will have to play from behind. Their pressure system is not designed to compete well in a catchup scenario. It requires too much from the crowd to keep the legs moving at top speed for 60 minutes.
This could be a defining game for many of our players. Have to learn to win these big games away from home. Play fast and aggressive, get a lead and look to increase it and not play prevent defense.
Need to jump out early like they did in game 1. They generated a ton of high danger chances in the 1st period in game 1 and only got one to convert. Put 2 in the back of the net and you control the pace of the game. Not feeling great about this one but Carolina is due to lose at home eventually, right?
I have a positive sense of the Rangers chance to win tonight. They have been the better team overall in the series and I think they have a big advantage in goal.
Haha, I was cracking up when I saw Hackett post that. If I wasn't on mobile I would've had a couple gifs to reply with.
Before the opening faceoff, I would just like to say that it is an honor to go to battle with all of you tonight. Even you, Losmeister.
Wow, I’m sorry you took an attempt to bond as an insult to our military members who paid the ultimate sacrifice. I apologize.
I didn’t take it as an insult and you have nothing to apologize to me for. Just don’t lose your head.
