When I became citizen they asked me about past presidents and constitution etc. Some give me hard time but America was never my dream country and I wasn’t one of those middle eastern guys enamored by American culture including music and movies. But again I am living here for past 20 years and shame on me for not watching this iconic movie. In my defense, I finally watched Godfather 1 last Christmas. I woke up 4 am Christmas morning, made myself a good coffee and started watching around 4:30 am. By the time movie finished my kids woke up. Told them about the movie and they said shame on you dad for not watching this until now. That’s that.
For me his most memorable role was as Melanie Griffith's psychotic ex-boyfriend in Something Wild. That scared the crap out of me. He's had a lot of memorable roles since. Ironically, he was on TV recently pitching some sort of health product, but I can't remember what it was. Just saw him the other day in Smokin' Aces. He'll be missed.
