Sorry, @KingRoach, but you can't start a DWC thread with such a short first post. It is insulting to his legacy!!!
TBH I'm not sure DWC had that many more bad takes than a lot of posters here - other than being unrealistically optimistic. His problem was dumping a flood of text across 3 posts, often containing many off topic rants, or focusing on one minor point with 1000 word avalanche of unrelated stats, that he'd claim proved his minor point.
He’s not back yet, but he did just pop up on my Twitter TL . Limited characters,still equally annoying. I don’t know how he manages that but he does.
I don't think he was genuinely optimistic; I think he was screwed up in the head and got his kicks by posting what he did. Plus in the end, he personally harassed mods of the other Jets forum off the forum, which is unforgivable.
It really doesn't have anything to do with his football opinions. It has to do with the fact that he is an insufferable human being.
I don't remember the topic, I think it was just an anti GOP rant in the politics thread... But he had one post that if you copied it into a word document it would have been at least 4-5 pages. He has a good dose of crazy in him.
I've been wondering about him. He's gone? No Champ posts this season that I have seen. No one this season has written "VLT" which to me will be his legacy. I got a kick out of him, but he attacked me a couple of times because he wanted the title of longest most dedicated fan all to himself. It became annoying.
I come across DWC online every so often. Not intentionally I assure you. Generally it is someone reposting something about him getting banned from somewhere again. Was it him who claimed to have a neice that had been impregnated by the next big thing in the NFL? Hot Florida blood being the most important part of the make up of any NFL player iirc. Can't remember who it was.
I see him pop up on my twitter quite a bit. Nothing but long ass tweets similar to his posts here. Says a lot of words without actually saying anything
No no no. Not him. The old-timer we all referred to as "Champ". Always bitching about nothing matters other than winning another VLT (Vince Lombardi Trophy). Always bringing up how long he's had season tickets even though he himself hadn't actually gone to a game in decades. etc etc. Having complained about him, I'm concerned for his well-being. He's rode off into the sunset it seems.
