If the rest of the offense is playing at a pro level and Zach doesn't keep up... I wonder how long the leash is. If we go back to color-coded wristbands and dumb-downed play calling... my head will explode.
Great call. I was thinking the exact same thing just before reading your take. Good offenses have tendencies. Things that work, they stay with. A good defense will call a different play against 3rd and 4 with Hall back there than if MC were back there.
Carter will fit the 10-15 touches as game for the next 3 years, so that will still be about 200 touches, should he play all 17 games. Let these guys ball behind some of these OLinemen and having these two rotating could help both prolong their own careers. Hoping to see a Hunt/Chubb or Jones/Dillon(Williams before) dynamic backfield. I expect the touches to be as follows Hall 15-20 Carter 10-15 Coleman/Wrs 0-5 Spread the 25-40 rushes a game between them and keep them fresh but also keep defenses on their toes. Carter is on the payroll so he better be a factor and not act like an immature kid if he isn't featured every down!
