Of all the magic Joe Douglas worked this off-season, I still can’t believe what he managed to do with the TE room. He essentially replaced the old room in one off-season and NOT with scrap heap talent.

All three Tight Ends: CJ Uzomah, Tyler Conklin, and Jeremy Ruckert are able to impact the running game and the passing game.

I am so excited to get to watch them this season and I truly believe the offense will be much better because of them and the Oline.

Arguably the best improvement at any position. From complete ineffectiveness to strength area and probably quickly becoming Zach's most consistent go to weapons when in trouble.

That it could be remade in one offseason just underscores the professional malpractice of failing to address this gaping hole in the offense for over a decade. A TE who can block - both in pass pro and the run game - and be a reliable receiver is central to any good modern NFL offense, and is a significant reason why the Jets offense has failed for so long. Thank god we've finally addressed it!

Indeed. It has been a parade of failed TE picks thru the draft and second tier free agency.

Let's see them in action ..first

If there's an immediate improvement it's a Win.. everybody happy

My posts always reflect a history of Jets fan letdown

So l am hoping for the best but would not be surprised it's half the expectation posters are gushing

I don't need to see them in action to know that this is a huge upgrade. Whether this turns out to be the best TE room in the league or just an average room, we'll have to wait and see about that, but I think it's safe to declare now that it's a huge upgrade.

This. We had Griffin, Kroft, and Yeboah playing last year…it’s a no brainer massive upgrade from the despicable TE room.

We should be far more capable of using our varied weapons to exploit our opponents weaknesses and to pound the rock with more consistency.

In might take a few games for all of our new pieces to build chemistry.

Mental mistakes (especially from our young quarterback) could be our biggest problem.

I think the Jets come out of the gates strong against Baltimore. They have no receiving core to speak of and the Jets defense should be healthy and strong. I see Zach playing decently against a young secondary and the Jets rushing for 150 plus.
