The tweet you posted is from a guy that used to cover high school sports where my son grew up. Met him a bunch of times when he was covering my son's baseball games. Really nice fellow. I'm glad to see he has progressed with his career.
Vince is an awesome beat reporter for the Rangers. Probably one of the few guys I think is a "must follow" for Rangers.
Having the young guys show up was huge. Takes some of the pressure off of the 1st line and the power play. Trouba doesn't just hit people he blocks a *lot* of shots. That combination is really valuable on defense and he's probably the best overall defender on the Rangers right now with no disrespect intended to Adam Fox.
Tristan Jarry might be coming back for Pittsburgh tonight but I don’t think it matters if Crosby is out.
The Penguins have been far superior to the Rangers in the series so far, even having a 2-0 lead in Game 5, but then that Crosby play happened and everything changed. That is all it takes sometimes in a series. Big opportunity tonight for the Rangers. Things looked like they were starting to click in the 2nd and 3rd of Game 5. Need to keep it going tonight and bring Game 7 to MSG where the Rangers would have all the momentum. They definitely have not played their best hockey yet. Now would be a great time!
Patrick Nemeth cannot step foot on the ice tonight. I hope he isn't even dressed. Even when Lindgren went to the locker room on Wednesday night, the Rangers rotated with 5D instead of letting Nemeth play. A fourth line of Motte/Rooney/Reaves is beautiful.
