Yes draft isn't over yet but for Jets its over. I am hoping Joe D was working the phones with agents of players on the bubble. Would be awesome if we could score a few gems this afternoon.
I wasn’t a big Wydermyer fan but he’s worth a UDFA flyer. I’d also grab Dontario Drummond (WR, Ole Miss). That dude can fly. Pretty surprised Bubba Bolden (S, Miami) is still there. He’ll be a great special teamer at the least. He flies around and hits. Alec Lindstrom (C/G, Boston College) moves bodies in the run game. Pretty bad athlete though. Cameron Dicker (K, Texas) has a monster leg. Worth a camp invite for sure. We’re a bit crowded at running back but Max Borghi (RB, Washington State) is a good passing down player.
Former N.C. State RB Zonovan "Bam" Knight is signing with the #Jets, per source. Tom Pallisero Apparently, Knight has led the ACC in missed tackles since 2020. JD has a type.
These guys are all undrafted. I think Abrahm Smith and the two DEs from Alabama are real sleepers. Abrahm Smith - RB - Baylor <--- Signed with Saints Justyn Ross - WR - Clemson Reggie Roberson - WR - SMU <--- Signed with Titans Jalen Wyndermyer - TE - Texas A&M <--- Signed with Bills Myron Cunningham - OT - Arkansas <--- Signed with Texans Dohnovan West - C - Arizona St <--- Signed with 49ers Alex Lindstrom - C - Boston College <--- Signed with Cowboys Jayden Peevy - DT - Texas A&M <--- Signed with Titans Haskell Garrett - DT - Ohio State <--- Signed with Titans Christopher Allen - DE - Alabama <--- Signed with Broncos LaBryan Ray - DE - Alabama <--- Signed with Patriots Josh Jobe - CB - Alabama <--- Signed with Eagles Josh Thompson - CB - Texas <--- Signed with Jaguars Vincent Gray - CB - Michigan <--- Signed with Saints Smoke Monday - S - Auburn <--- Signed with Saints EDIT: Added the signings. EDIT #2: Just once it my life, it would be nice for the draft to end and to find out that the Jets signed like two or three of the consensus top UDFAs. EDIT: #3: And ..... the only one left is Ross and he has medical concerns (bullshit medical concerns, but still medical concerns). Apparently the Saints and Titans make an effort.
