I cant tell you how much I enjoyed this draft over the last two days. Many thanks to the many great posters here for making it fun and providing such great insight and special kudos to the moderators for the hard work giving us a venue to share dreams, expectations, and above all, the eternal hope that may be, just may be, we finally got it right with JD and RS. Jet fans deserve better and this draft could be the catalyst that lift us from years of terrible performance, unwatchable at times. At least this draft kept our hopes alive. At this point we are playing with house money. if we finish day 3 with a couple of back ups at DT, OL and or LB we should be extremely happy. It has been IMO one of the most rewarding and thrilling drafts for this team in a long, long time. I'm confident it will translate into a much more competitive season, with meaningful games in play by year end.
I expect we will carry 7 CBs like last year. Sauce Reed Hall Echols Guidry MC2 Hardee Dunn is the loser here.

This is the only thing that bothers me with the Sauce draft, in essence, we didn't need him or we didn't need to sign Reed, either or, I can't believe we picked up a draft bargain in Hall and are already pushing him out when he has shown he is a talented kid. Weird stuff tbh
It bothers me too. If we were going to take a luxury pick I wanted Icky. But, I think we need to trust JD.
I am not sure if anyone listened to Connor Hughes podcast yesterday but he said some interesting things. He said the Jets fed him misinformation and clearly steered him in a different direction after giving him accurate info all spring. He seemed to give the Jets FO a lot of credit for the smoke screen they ran. He said when the buzz came out about Sauce the last 2 days he discounted it as it conflicted with what he had been previously told about how Saleh values CBs.
Well, you have to read the post I quoted to see why I was saying what I said. I don't really disagree with your comment either.
We better find a RT that can stay healthy because they also have Von Miller, unless Jets plan to use a TE to help out Becton all game.
Completely forgot about Hardee. That’s 6. I just can’t see Echols or Hall being inactive and not putting up a stink. Or being active and doing nothing on Gameday. I wanted KT because I think he’s a stud but also because I didn’t want to create this exact issue. I have to trust that Saleh knows how to build a defense, but as a fan who is looking at things from a totally different perspective it doesn’t make sense. Sauce is a stud player though. Can’t deny that.
