I give all the credit to Mean Dean. His mental waves influenced the Jets front office to get it done.
Yeah but Rickert has superstar potential and is a great value at 101. He can develop behind vets and is a great pick for the future.
The TE room has been completely redone. About damm time …..how many years now has TE been a huge need?
This Is my favorite draft of all-time. Easily. I'm so amped up I can't even handle It. I'm going to log off for the night on this incredible high note. You guys are awesome.. I love It. Wow. Incredible. You guys have a good night! What a great time to be a Jet fan, we might have a team guys.. Can you believe It? Holy shit.
Man, how is it possible the same guy who turned in an abomination of a draft 2 years ago is responsible for what's taken place the last 24 hours?
Crazy thing is we’ve got 2 more picks in the next 10-15 or so. Hopefully we can still snag Winfrey tomorrow, that would be amazing.
Agree . Great pick. Needed another recover and get depth. Now he can learn from vet and build up experience and be a factor in 2 years.
Wow. Whatever I dreamed in this draft happened except Sauce over Icky and I am already happy with Sauce. Best Jets draft in a very long time. Kudos JD, back to work Zach and Lafleur and fix the D Saleh and let's push for at least 9-8 and make December games meaningful. Brook will now send an email to his rep to renew his 2022 season tix. Fuck my life. I am a sucker
This is a hell of a draft! Douglas needed to nail it and he did and there's still 2 more picks to go! Basically in the course of two off seasons he's massively upgraded the talent level on the Jets. Of course they need to go out and prove it on the field, but given the amount of talent it's impossible to believe the Jets won't be MUCH better, even if Zach Wilson struggles (which I don't think he will). But worst case, if Wilson shows he's not the FQB they thought he'd be, the foundation is in place for whomever the next QB hope is. This is how a GM is supposed to do his job.
I wouldn’t mind a kicker tomorrow. Since they developed immediate impact players in draft already, why not get a kicker to score points?
We addressed 3 positions that have been huge needs for ages this offseason. WR, TE, and Edge. Loving it.
Easy - because we we didn’t view it that way two years ago the day the picks were made. Disappointment comes later
