The lifelong Jets fan is the pick at 101. Love it and adding a TE as well! Perfect

I'll be honest that I don't know much about him but from what I've seen he looks to be a solid addition to our suddenly stout TE cadre with his solid blocking and good hands.

We crushed every aspect of this draft up until this pick in my opinion. We just signed 2 tight ends that are way better than this kid. I know they say he can block but so can Conklin. If we were gonna take a TE I would rather of taken Likely and use him wide or in the slot. That guy catches everything near him.

Lord. We are really in the Business of giving Wilson no excuses. Hope Wilson comes ready!

Worked with the coaching staff at the senior bowl as well -- very excited about getting him (and one that many of us have mocked for the Jets)

Didn’t see the Jets going TE but I like the player….Our offense is suddenly stacked at the skill positions. Some good players aren’t going to get the ball much if everyone is healthy

I have been banging the drum for Ruckert since freakin late 2020 when I thought he would come out last draft cycle, but went back to school. He’s been one of my favorite prospects all off-season.

He can catch, just didn't have to do it a lot given Garrett Wilson and a couple of other 1st round pick WRs were on the team. He is a big time TE. Now, I do understand we signed two TEs, but Ruckert is a big time player, probably the best TE in the draft. We can now play 2 TE sets even if there is an injury. Luxury pick - sure. But this is end of 3 round. Remember last year Dan Brown, Yeboah. Now we have a really terrific TE room. And Ruckert can emerge as the best one of the three in a year.

Just a year ago we had to pretend Kenny Yeboah was the answer… now we have two legit starting TEs and a rookie with tons of potential.

I’d have gone Winfrey personally but he may still be there when we pick tomorrow.

Did the team read my mind? I said Hall and Ruckert would make for a nice day 2.

Looks like the Jets want to get better at running the ball and I"m all for that.
I think we will see more 12 personnel.

    Another good BPA selection..

I wonder if any of these TE’s-or this new guy-can play an H-back role?
