suddenly he may have a torn pec, declined shoulder surgery and has some knee meniscus issues, so yeah.
Even if he needs some surgery he has to be considered if he's still there at 101 doesn't he? It was just a few short weeks ago I was watching eloquent cases being made for him to be the pick at #10 overall for gods sake... He's a vacuum cleaner of a tackler, glue of the defense etc etc etc. Even if he basically missed the 022 season I feel like that might be good value at 101.
Also, this may be a little bit of an unpopular opinion and not the most crying need anymore but I still feel like I'd like to bag one of the TE prospects (assuming they are available). Even though we got two fine ones in free agency it just feels like a good time to get a promising kid and mold the clay the way MLF wants it from the start. Plus TE's seem to get banged up and injured so much, and MLF often likes to have two on the field at once the third guy is going to be important if not critical to the Jets when and if they start playing winning playoff football anyway. Just get the job the hell over with right here and now and start the learning process. The days of the likes of Tomlinson or Herndon clanking the soul crushing 3rd and 7 drop right off their hands need to end forever and NEVER come back.
Fucking Ravens are having a super duper draft so far. Hamilton at 14 Linderbaum at 25 Ojabo at 45 and now Travis Jones at 76 All value picks.
I've loved our draft but I feel pretty uneasy about our OT situation. Are there any decent ones left for our next pick?
Be curious if we try and take an OT here. Backup we can groom into a starter. Fant May chase money next year.
Marcus Jones was a nice pick for the Patriots. Kinda sucks watching all of this talent just bleed off of the board before our picks.
