def needs another receiver, perhaps a speciality one that can run end arounds, or set up like 49ers did with Deebo.
IDK we are pretty deep and i believe moore can and will be that elite WR in the NFL and the supporting cast around him is strong with wilson, davis, berrios, uzomah, conklin, and carter. We do need RB depth though. coleman and ty aren't really it. i'd love to grab another RB. if hall is the pick at 38 I wouldn't be upset if not plenty of good RBs in the 4th. TE same we could get a solid one in the 4th
I'd get excited about Breece Hall at 38 though would prefer Nakobe Dean or Travis Jones or possibly Jalen Pitre or Brisker. With that late 3rd or one of the early 4ths, I expect some nice value at RB and do hope and expect them to add one with one of the next four picks.
thats pretty much my list. I don't want a S here. value isn't good IMO. I think we can take a flyer on a later round safety instead or just run with whitehead/joyner/davis/pinnock/parks. my list right now is 1) jones - huge need and good place to take him and the drop off form him to the next IDL like him is massive 2) Dean - LBer is deep in this class so thats why I have him at 2 instead of 1 but the value here is hard to pass up 3) hall - since we addressed the big needs this is a bonus pick really and hall is the top back in this class and would pair nicely with carter 4) if somehow all 3 of these guys are gone before we pick, i'd want to trade down
2nd rd. if we go LB channing tindall nakobe dean troy anderson if we go RB Breece hall racheed white zamir white. if we go S jaquan brisker bryan cook nick cross.
Obviously we don't know the medicals here, but the clear top 2 for me are Nakobe Dean and Travis Jones. I'm open to a trade down after that, but on the shortlist in no particular order is Jaquan Brisker, Jalen Pitre, Bernard Raimann, Skyy Moore, David Ojabo, Arnold Ebiteke, Breece Hall, Kenneth Walker and a couple others. Too difficult to project the 3rd rounder, but Jelani Woods is super intriguing to me as are Channing Tindall and Kerby Joseph
I know I'm being mr. contrarian but these zone-blocking west coast guys starting from father shanahan can plug and play RB's who excel in their system--no need to use a 2nd rounder here imo although I agree Breece is going to be good. He's just not going to get enough carries here to justify a 2nd rounder imo.
WR is plenty. I’m just saying, Wilson is still a rookie and Moore had injury bug last year. TE is not scary but is fine. Same with RB. Need tot run and get Hall as he is ELITE rb1 status.
