To me that was a home run. Didn’t over reach for a pass rusher once the two top dogs were gone. We got a much needed cover corner and a shifty, precise route runner WR. Now we pick a pass rusher and a center in the second round. This two guys are Immediate starters.
If I could have voted lower than "F" I would have. They wasted the 4th overall pick on a self-promoting clown, who is going to be an instant target to be burned by ever wide receiver in the NFL while he obliviously poses for the camera.
Looks like they think Becton is going to be the guy at left tackle going forward. I hope he can get back to his rookie yr form and improve from that.
Sauce Gardner and Wilson are both players I really liked. I just hope the Jets didn’t overthink everything in regards to Thibodeaux and try to get cute.
The best offensive lineman in the draft was there for the taking, and the Jets passed on him for this absolute clown.
Zero grade Wins and losses going forward is my yardstick Gun to my head I would say we got 2 of the best and most talented players
That's what I am worried about. I am hoping KT sucks, but if he becomes next great pass rusher for the Giants, it will be extremely hard to swallow, even if Sauce is good. I would have picked KT.
Two productive players who can contribute right away. Helps our secondary, and another weapon to help our young QB. Our skilled offensive players are all young which is what I love. I can understand the need for a rusher, but the way things are playing out we can still get a quality edge guy with our two picks in the 2nd. I love these picks. Homerun as far as I'm concerned.
Yeah not a power 5 but it’s still a crazy stat. He played against Houston, Alabama, Georgia, Norte Dame, UCF though. He was considered one of the best players in the draft by pretty much everyone, so I don’t know why anyone would be that upset
Because the NFL is so much faster and stronger and better than college. And when I say "college" I mean the SEC, Big 10, Big 12, PAC 12. He was the big fish in the tiniest of ponds. He is going to get absolutely torched in the NFL.
