So who are the up-and-coming GM candidates? I'm sure Woody will pick the worst one.

We drafted two guys with very few red flags at very important positions. This first round is a win for us.

The Commanders just made the trade with the Saints that I had the Jets making on the 10 in my dream draft. Wish we'd had that haul.

Is it okay to wait until they touch the field before patting anyone on the back? That's where whoever is the best receiver or corner will be determined. Right now what the Jets got is two warm bodies.

I think they feel ok about the oline. For the d, there was no one worth taking over Wilson.

Honestly.. This Is perfect. There Is higher quality depth at Edge this year than at WR. I don't think this could've gone much better for us. I still expect to get a quality Edge.

I would be fucking stoked If we manage to come away with someone like...

    David Ojabo
    Nik Bonnito
    Boye Mafe
    Drake Jackson
    Etc..

Should be some studs In the 2nd still. I'm stoked so far. Great job, JD!

A lot of pressure and responsibility had just been moved onto Becton's plate. If the Jets are going to succeed it is almost obligatory that he gets his #1 pick career on track and mauls the opposing defense.

We don't need more picks. We need to use the picks we have on the best players available. How many rookies do you think are gonna make the team?

I think the Jets knew he was starting to get regarded as the "in the know" beat reporter and fed him bad info on purpose.

Jets must have loved Garrett Wilson because you have to believe the Saints and Lions were trying to reach them on the 10.

We were one of the worst teams in football for the last two years. If there isn't room for a dozen players to make the team then the Jets need to fire the CS.

There's a reason you go 4-13 and it's either terrible talent or terrible coaching. You can fix terrible talent in the draft.

Wilson takes some of the sting off of Sauce at #4. Maybe with a little time I'll come to accept Gardner as he is a consensus stud, but we didn't need a CB more than Edge or T. I'll hope for the best/

I did prefer Williams but have to admit the ACL is a big question mark so Wilson is a good pick here. And I guess Deebo might still might be in play with one or both of the 2nds, although for me that ship has sailed - use the picks for an OL and DL or LB, maybe even a Safety.

I'm signing off. I'm tired of fighting with the internet and t-mobile. MAybe I'll check in later if my internet stabilizes.

That's a great pick for the Saints. Really glad he didn't fall to the Pats.

Olave at #11 to continue the WR run & now the Lions move all the way up to #12. GB & KC must be getting antsy.
